About the Role

The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Monitoring & Screening Control Support Analyst plays a critical role in transaction monitoring (TM) at Deutsche Bank (DB). As a functional specialist/SME, you will be responsible for reviewing transactions within APAC TM alerts to detect and prevent money laundering (ML) and terrorist financing (TF) risks.

Your role includes identifying cautionary flags, evaluating risk, and deciding whether to escalate cases for further review. You will also support training, quality assurance, KOD adherence, process control evaluation, and audit mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Alert Monitoring & Review

  • Review alerts as per KOD (Key Operating Documents) standards.
  • Maintain high standards for timeliness, quality, and productivity in KPI delivery.
  • Regularly check alert generation data for anomalies and report findings.

• Process Enhancement & Compliance

  • Assist in evaluating volume trends, QA feedback, and audit findings.
  • Recommend training and procedural improvements.
  • Explore automation and robotics solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Audit & Regulatory Support

  • Assist in regulatory inspections, internal & external audits.
  • Support AVP in MI preparation, UAT testing, and production lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

✔ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
✔ 7+ years of relevant AML experience
✔ Certification in ACAMS or similar accreditation (preferred)

Technical & Analytical Skills:

✔ AML regulations & TM exposure across multiple products & regions
✔ Experience with ACTIMIZE, FIRCOSOFT, MANTAS, and other AML platforms
✔ Hands-on experience with AML automation/Robotics projects

Soft Skills:

✔ Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Proactive with a drive for process improvement
