About the Commercial Banking Group (CBG)

The Commercial Banking Group (CBG) at Axis Bank offers a comprehensive range of financial products and solutions, including forex, trade, payments, cash management, and tax payments. Additionally, CBG provides retail banking products such as salary accounts, trust services, forex, commercial cards, and credit cards. The group serves clients with an annual turnover between Rs 10 Cr – Rs 250 Cr.

About the Role – Credit Analyst

The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing borrower profiles by analyzing market data, financial statements, technical ratios, and management details. The role requires close collaboration with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and ensure sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis

• Evaluate creditworthiness by preparing Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs).
• Analyze borrower financials, market trends, and risk factors to support lending decisions.
• Prepare reports and respond to observations from the Risk Department.

✅ Account Management & Renewals

• Review and reopen accounts as necessary.
• Maintain an acceptable Turnaround Time (TAT) for processing ratings, appraisal notes, and renewals.

✅ Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Relationship Managers to gain insights into client profiles.
• Coordinate with the Risk and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Education:

• Graduates with strong academic credentials.
• Preferred: ICWAs, CAs, or Management Graduates.

✔ Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English and the local language.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
