Job Title: C++ Software Engineer – Low Latency Development

Location: Primarily Hong Kong (also open to candidates in Sydney and Shanghai)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Mode: Remote / Relocation support available

About the Role

Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking a C++ Software Engineer to join our Low Latency Development Team. This team plays a critical role in developing market links and core components of our in-house algorithmic trading systems.

While this position is based in Hong Kong, we welcome applicants from Sydney and Shanghai. For qualified candidates willing to relocate to Hong Kong, relocation assistance and work visa sponsorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop low latency exchange connectivity and trading algorithms (including quoting, hedging, and arbitrage strategies)

• Collaborate with quants and traders to define and optimize trading algorithm behaviors

• Build core C++ applications for our trading infrastructure

• Perform thorough testing (including automated testing) and actively contribute to code reviews

• Provide Tier 3 support for deployed systems

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 4+ years of C++ server-side development on Linux (C++14 or later preferred)

• Strong technical design skills with a solid understanding of:

  • Multithreading

  • Network socket programming

  • Low latency programming techniques

• Experience with:

  • Automated trading systems

  • Exchange connectivity

  • Kafka (preferred)

• Strong data analysis capabilities

• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Software Engineer position.
