Role: Research Analyst – APAC Gas Markets

Location: Gurugram, Haryana (Hybrid, 2 days in office per week)

As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to gas and LNG research in the APAC Gas Markets team. You’ll have opportunities to support other regional teams, products, and consulting projects while collaborating with gas, power, and upstream analysts.

Your primary role will be to develop short- and long-term gas market forecasts, engage with clients, and enhance Wood Mackenzie’s research coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key industry events and conduct research to develop reports, data models, and presentations.
• Analyze market supply-demand trends, price forecasts, and asset valuations to help clients shape their commercial strategies.
• Contribute to custom consulting projects, addressing clients' specific needs.
• Support the Sales team by providing insights that help retain and win business.
• Maintain data accuracy in collaboration with the Data and Product teams through our Lens platform.
• Build a strong network of industry contacts, including operators, national bodies, and key institutions.
