Key Responsibilities

1. Safe Driving: Operate buses and coaches safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
2. Passenger Assistance: Ensure passengers are properly seated, assist with luggage, and provide information about tour schedules and stops.
3. Route Planning: Familiarize yourself with planned routes and destinations, adapting to changes or road conditions as needed.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the bus is in good condition and clean.
5. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction.
6. Punctuality: Maintain timely departures and arrivals to meet tour schedules.
7. Emergency Preparedness: Handle emergencies effectively to ensure passenger safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Driving License: Possess a current Commercial Driving License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for bus operations.
• Experience: Prior experience driving passenger buses or commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to create a positive and welcoming environment for passengers.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to handle long hours on the road and meet the physical demands of the job.
• Safety Awareness: In-depth understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and defensive driving techniques.

• Clean Driving Record: No major traffic violations or accidents in the past five years.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of professional driving experience, particularly in tourism, transportation, or passenger services.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in long-distance travel and customer-facing roles within the transportation or tourism industry.

Working Hours

• Shift Hours: Full-time, six days a week, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Tour Schedules: Varied shifts based on tour timings, with extended hours for longer trips.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Route Knowledge: Familiarity with major tourist destinations in and around Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu.
2. Vehicle Management: Basic understanding of vehicle operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
