Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to monitor and review financial reports, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and prepare insightful financial analyses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and CCH Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review accounting and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other financial transactions.
• Develop financial reports and analyze accounting data.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and their impact on financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and complete general and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare and organize work papers for engagement binders.
• Train team members on accounting updates and best practices.
• Reconcile client-provided details with results and review work papers.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of financial reports.

Required Skills

Primary Skills:

• Ability to manage daily processing tasks and provide guidance to team members on complex accounting issues.
• Proficiency in handling non-standard transactions and adaptability to new scenarios.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
