Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective support for technical issues, including network connectivity, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including networking equipment, routers, and servers.
• Monitor and maintain the health of network systems to ensure maximum uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and perform regular maintenance.
• Conduct routine system checks, backups, and ensure data security.
• Assist in network design and infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Provide training and technical guidance to end users when necessary.
• Document solutions, configurations, and IT processes for internal reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting roles, with a strong focus on networking.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and server environments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are a plus.

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support, focusing on networking, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
• Previous hands-on experience with network devices, routers, switches, and firewall management.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
• Occasional on-call support during non-business hours may be required for critical issues.
