Disney is seeking a dedicated and passionate IT Recruiter Intern to join our team remotely. As an IT Recruiter Intern, you will support our recruitment team in sourcing, screening, and engaging with top-tier IT talent. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process for IT roles, including but not limited to software engineers, system analysts, and network specialists.
• Source and engage with qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
• Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
• Assist in coordinating interviews and follow-up communications between candidates and hiring managers.
• Prepare job descriptions and post job openings on various platforms.
• Provide feedback and insights to the recruitment team about candidate pipelines and trends.
• Help manage candidate relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior recruitment experience required. Previous internship or exposure to recruitment or HR processes is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with basic recruitment tools (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.).
  • Good understanding of IT terminology and industry roles is desirable but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in pursuing a career in IT recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Basic understanding of IT concepts such as programming languages, networks, and software development.
• Previous experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Job Type & Location:

• Type: Part-time Internship
• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Remote/Work from home)
• Duration: 6-month internship with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
